Formed in the early 2000s, the Mets have evolved to a regionally recognized organization related to SYA Sports and SYA Little League. In conjunction with SYA Little League, the Mets field teams at the 8u through 12u levels. The program is overseen by an SYA Travel Baseball Board, which operates under SYA Diamond Sports.

Managers are selected on a yearly basis, beginning with the fall season while players tryout for the fall team in late spring and for the spring team in late fall - spring includes winter workouts. Players must live within the SYA Little League boundary for the 12u and under teams. Full details of the program can be found in our Standard Operating Procedures.
