SYA has two types of volunteer opportunities. Read below for a quick rundown of each opportunity available
Is the main person in charge of team. Oversees practice plans, game plans and overall growth of team.
Second in charge of team. Works with Coach/Manager to oversee practice plans, game plans and overall growth of team.
These positions are to officiate games. Responsible for understanding and enforcing the sport rules.
Governs and oversees the sport operation while showing a balanced concern for all SYA activities.
SYA sponsors many Boy Scout and Girl Scout projects including but not limited to: organizing, park cleanups, projects to plan & build, etc.
Works shifts to support SYA’s various snack bars.
Assists with efforts to raise funds to support the sport goals and/or SYA.
SYA is a largely volunteer based organization. As such, SYA is in high demand for volunteers. If you do not see a position listed in our Volunteer section but feel that you may be able to contribute somehow, contact us and we will find a solution.
