Do You Want To Be A Referee?
Now is the time for adults and youths to sign up to become a referee for the upcoming seasons. Summer and winter league basketball games take place in local Centreville/Clifton area gyms.
Register as volunteer and select REFEREE as your desired position. New officials must be 13 by the time the season begins Even though you are registering as a volunteer, you will be paid for games. Officiating is a nice way to refine your knowledge of the game while earning some cash.
All first, second, and third year officials are required to attend the mandatory training.

Please purchase a Black FOX 40 whistle (picture above) to bring to training. Whistle can be purchased at Dick’s Sporting Goods, or on Amazon. You will be filling out forms that night and getting a lot of information, a pen for notes will be handy!
