Now is the time for adults and youths to sign up to become a referee for the upcoming Summer season. Games begin the last week of June. Summer league basketball games take place on weeknights between 6:00 – 9:00pm in local Centreville/Clifton area gyms.
Register as volunteer and select REFEREE as your desired position. New officials must be 13 by the time the season begins Even though you are registering as a volunteer, you will be paid for games. Officiating is a nice way to refine your knowledge of the game while earning some cash.
All first, second, and third year officials are required to attend the mandatory training. Training will take place Monday, June 10th at Centreville High School at 6:00 pm.

Please purchase a Black FOX 40 whistle to bring to training. Whistle can be purchased at Sports Authority, Dick’s, or online at Amazon. You will be filling out forms that night and getting a lot of information, so a pen for notes will be handy!
