SYA Baseball and Softball are looking for umpires for our weekday and Saturday games, late March to early June and in the fall from September through October.
Requirements:
- No experience necessary. Classroom & field training will be held in March for the Spring and August for the fall.
- Umpire Ages: 12+ minimum for AA, 13+ for AAA/Majors, 15+ for Jr./Sr.
- Ages 18 and older must be currently enrolled in college/university classes to be paid, Volunteers and parents are always welcomed!
- Pick your own Schedule (Self-assign games)!
- Work as many or as few games as your schedule allow.
Parents: Register as a Volunteer (unpaid) Umpire with your youth; when you umpire a game together, your youth will be paid 50% of
the parent’s position for that game, in addition to their own pay.
