Job Description
Work with SYA staff to improve overall success of our organization. Oversee all online sports registration from setup to implementation. Assist families with registrations and scholarship questions. Ensure compliance and implementation of background checks for all adult volunteers, contractors and other required personnel. Maintain all accurate program records and assist as needed with all office operation’s needs.
Join our team of changemakers to help identify, train and implement core groups of part time volunteers and paid contractors for SYA for sports specific events, camps & clinics and other activities. Must have a great sports dynamic personality to help shape our kid programs and make them fun. Interaction with children ages pre-school to high school is paramount to this position. Must be able to adapt to skills and ages.

Someone who is already an SYA member in good standing, who wants to increase athletic participation within the local community and give back to the sport of play and make a few bucks along the way! · The position requires evenings/weekends within Centreville & Clifton VA area – hours are flexible up to 20 per week
· Must have a high school degree

Operate our new robotic field lining equipment to prepare fields for practices/games, coordinate and execute sports clinics, camps and special events, assist with event operations and periodically jump in to help lead sport activities. Also support our volunteer workforce of Commissioners, Coaches, and other personnel with their needs.
