SYA is a non profit organization run by volunteers. There are many costs that go into running each and every sport. The key factor to remember when asking “Where does Our Money Go”, is to understand that our coaches are volunteers and are typically unpaid. While this breakdown is basic and does not cover every income or expense item, most everything is accounted for.
Income – Registrations, donations, sponsorships – we receive no income from local, state or other entities to run our programs. We did get some assistance with COVID, but otherwise, none.
