SYA Volleyball is proud to share that our club program has expanded from one team to three competitive teams this season: SYA 14 Thunder, SYA 15 Sharks, and SYA 16 Titans. Club volleyball represents one of the highest levels of play available to junior athletes, and our players have embraced the challenge with energy, commitment, and a whole lot of heart.Our season is already off to an impressive start. SYA 14 Thunder placed 4th in Bronze (12th overall out of 28 teams) at Volley by the James and followed it up with a 3rd in Gold finish (t-3rd overall out of 18 teams) at the Nike National Harbor. SYA 15 Sharks earned 7th in Gold (7th overall out of 23 teams) at the Reindeer Rumble and captured 1st in Bronze at FVBC 15 Mixed (9th overall out of 12 teams). SYA 16 Titans secured a strong 9th‑place in Gold finish (t‑9th out of 26 teams) at the Eastern Shore Showdown.
Across all three teams, our athletes are training hard, competing fearlessly, and proudly representing SYA on some of the region’s biggest stages.
