For 10 years, the SYA Froghair Golf Classic has brought golfers, sponsors, volunteers and friends together to support the SYA Scholarship Fund, which helps local families access youth sports.
In September 2026, SYA celebrated our 10th annual Froghair Golf Classic—another day of golf, community, and giving kids in Centreville, Clifton and surrounding areas the chance to engage in the sport of play.
Since 2021, the SYA Scholarship Fund has helped distribute $390,056 to families who may otherwise struggle with the cost of youth sports. Support from Froghair helps SYA provide financial assistance so that cost doesn’t have to be the reason a child misses a season.
Every golfer who registered. Every business that sponsored. Every raffle ticket purchased. Every prize donated. Every volunteer who helped make the day happen.
It all contributed to that mission.

Reaching the 10th anniversary of Froghair gave us a chance to think about what has made this event special year after year.
It isn’t the final scorecard.
It’s a community of people and businesses willing to come together and support opportunities for local kids.
