Indoor clinics at Liberty MS
7:00 – 8:30 PM Tuesdays & Thursdays
June 21-July 28 – specific dates listed below.
Cost = $35 per session or $120 for a block of four.
Each clinic is limited to 20 registered players to maintain a low player/coach ratio.
All grades are based on the 2016-17 school year.
for boys and girls in 4th – 8th grade with less than four seasons of experience.
Dates: June 21, 28, July 5, 12, 19, & 26
is for boys and girls in 6th – 12th grade with four to six or more seasons of house volleyball or freshman team experience and should be working on an overhand serve.
Dates: June 21, 23, 28, 30, July 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, & 28
is for 9th -12th grade boys and girls who play travel or club or JV/Varsity volleyball. Players must already be able to overhand serve. If you are younger than 9th grade and think you are advanced sign up for an intermediate clinic that takes place on the same night as an advanced clinic and the coaches on site will evaluate you and move you if it is appropriate.

SYA Volleyball is offering free ‘OPEN PLAY’ this summer for boys and girls in rising 7th-8th grades
and rising 9th-12th grade levels.
All open gyms will be from 6:30 – 9:00 PM
at Mt. View Alternative HS, 5775 Spindle Ct. Centreville, VA 20121
A cadre of SYA’s Travel and Club coaches will be
on hand to monitor & structure the games.
The Open gyms are for players who already know
how to play the game of volleyball.
This is not an instructional clinic.
Each age group will have 4 sessions. Players must register in advance for the nights they are going to attend. If you register and then are unable to attend please email Nick Kokulis at firstname.lastname@example.org so that a wait list player can move into that spot.
Middle School (rising 7th & 8th graders) dates:
Tuesdays: June 28, July 5, 12, & 19
High School (rising 9th – 12th graders) dates:
Thursdays: June 30, July 7, 14, & 21

ABOUT THE CAMP
Oakton HS volleyball camps focus on developing technique through repetition and game like situations. Our goal is to provide a fun environment and prepare campers to play at the high school level. Campers will be taught by coaches with experience coaching at the high school level and travel volleyball in the area and current student athletes at Oakton High School.
The camp is limited to 48 players to ensure each camper gets maximum individual attention.
WHAT TO BRING
Volleyball or court shoes, socks, knee pads, gym shorts or spandex short, t-shirt, water bottle. Any questions please contact the camp director listed below.
Coach Dan Courain has been at Oakton High School for six seasons, has led the school to the two Concorde Conference championships, and was the 2015 Concorde Conference Coach of the Year. Coach Courain coached NVVA’s highest level travel teams for the 14s, 16s, and 17s ages and has college experience as the girls volleyball team manager at the University of Virginia.

NOVA Volleyball Club is pleased to announce the second in its series of skills and competition clinics geared to promote and develop the sport of volleyball at the middle school level. This is done through an emphasis on technical instruction that teaches the skills and attitudes needed to play the sport competitively. Participants will pick the session that fits their schedule – either Tuesdays or Thursdays
Clinician: Pat Kendrick, Former Head Coach – George Mason University
Current: Virginia Tech, Director of Volleyball Operations
Players will be placed in groups based on skill. Beginner through Advance level players are welcome. Skill work will include serving, setting, passing, attacking, and match play.
