Fall Clinic (Lacrosse)
The SYA Warriors & Lady Warriors Fall Lacrosse Clinic is held on six fall Sunday afternoons in September and October. It is designed for boys and girls new to lacrosse (novice or first year players), and those anxious to pick up their sticks and work on their weak hand. We teach the basics of the game, scooping, cradling, catching, passing, dodging, etc. There are no teams, per se, but we scrimmage among ourselves and maybe against some other local teams. All players are grouped by age (Under-9 (U-9), U-11, U-13, and U-15). It provides the participants (and their parents) an introduction to the “fastest game on foot”, so they do not have to commit an entire season (and a full season of fees) to a sport they may be unfamiliar with. We look forward to teaching you, and your children, the wonderful game of lacrosse.
Who is eligible? Boys and girls ages 5-16.
Where is the clinic held?
Located on Popes Head Road inbetween the Fairfax County Parkway and Clifton Road.
